The Great Debate: Defining Furry Foxday at 7:00pm in: Stansbury A panel dedicated to exploring the great debate of what exactly it means to be furry. Presentation with the focus being on discussion with people in the panel and the audience. Material covered will include all aspects of furry life from art and writing, role-playing and fursuiting, to spiritual life and lifestyles. After the main presentation the panel will focus on engaging the audience to give their input on the subject and to form as well as possible an answer to the great question of "What is furry?" Writing With Artists Foxday at 7:00pm in: John Snow Some artists have no ability to write a story, but given a story, they can breathe visual life into it. Writing stories for artists can be one of the most enjoyable forms of writing. It means collaborating with someone else. Either you give someone's character a voice or history, or the artist gives your character a visual being. Join this open forum to talk about joining forces between writers and artists and maybe even find a person to collaborate with! The film attempts to examine the furry fandom in a positive light, disputing misconceptions and taking the time to explore many of the elements that go unnoticed by the media. Featuring interviews with several Ohio furs, there is a strong focus on what "being furry" means to the individual. A question and answer session with the filmmaker will follow the screening. Atomic Comedy Hour of Doom! Satyrday at 12:00am in: Griswold C Got a comedy routine you've been working on? Ever wanted to experience that stand-up experience? Are you just plain funny and wish to embarrass yourself on our stage? If you answer yes to any of these questions, then you may be interested in our Atomic Comedy Hour of Doom. This show will be hosted by Angel Bear this year. To sign up, please go to the Convention Registration room and put your name on our Atomic Comedy Hour of Doom Sign-up Sheet. You will be encouraged to come to the Spectacle of Doom, for the Atomic Comedy Hour of Doom will follow immediately after the show is over. We cannot announce you if you aren't there to go on. Depending on how many people sign up for this event will determine each alloted time for your skit. You will be given a brief run-down on the order of appearance and a time allotment for each routine. In case your comedy act begins to exceed the time limit, you will be given a two-minute signal backstage from our stage hand. The entire idea is to have fun on either count, so hit us with your funniest stories, skits, celebrity impersonations, puppet acts, whatever you wish to bring to the stage. Just have fun with it, and don't be surprised if you get heckled from the audience. The general key to remember is to never let them see you sweat, so get out there and be funny. Skunkday at 8:00pm in: Griswold Bf Morphicon opens up the entire Griswold Ballroom for its famous epic, post-con battle! Arrive promptly at 20:00 hours to get assigned to a team. Each team will have 10 minutes to construct hasty defenses and then let the foam fly! Unmodified Nerf blasters and foam boffer weapons ONLY. Range master Wrank Stankly will act as field judge, with several assistants as referees.
